The staff was very helpful and friendly My room was cleaned daily it was a safe area and close to the subway
i wished there was a closet in the room and a table and a trash can
The location is very good ,close to main places and the price wasnt expincive but the most important thing was that the staff wer nice and helpful
I chose this hotel because the price seemed good. However, right after I got there, I found the hotel really old and dirty, even scary for me. In my room, there was only a bed, and nothing else. No air conditioner, so it was so hot that I couldn't sleep well at night. There were two bathrooms on each floor, but they were not clean too. It seemed that many other people were staying there at the same time, but I didn't understand why they were. I couldn't stand it and moved to another hotel the next day even though I had to pay for all the days I booked at this hotel. This was the terrible place to stay ever for me.
I liked the location actually, the staff was nice, especially the lady kooks like Spanish if I'm not mistaken.
The room is not cosy, the covers on the bed are very thin, it was a little cold to sleep there. Besides, it's very noisy outside at night, and I didn't fell asleep. But it's good attitude betwee the rate and quality.
location is great, close to central park and subway. also upper west side is a nice place to be. Also very noisy (screaming drunk scandinavians)
we had a bunk bed, and that's it. no table, no chair, it looked more like a prison cell than a hotel. It also was dusty and the window couldn't be opened.
good localization, next to subway.
in a room there is only a bed and little table, a nothing else!!!!!
Old but still clean. Room have a good size. Internet is fast
Elevator was broken almost everyday. Don't have much lockers. Heater didn't work the first day.
The staff were rude, cold, and mean.
In our room had a washbasin and a good view from the window.
Hotel is very old, so room's state was poor. Staff didn't change our bed linen and didn't wash our room.
Very clean. Glad I didn't have to make or strip my own bed. They had towels!
Building, staff, difference between rooms, almost everything here is bad.
The female staff seemed quite agressive whenever you asked a question. They were'nt friendly.
Is clean and it works for the money.
The heating system is very old and makes an incredible metal pounding sound. The sound comes back and forth every hour and a half to two hours. At its peak, you feel like you are in the middle of steel factory. The radiator on my room was right next to the pillow, so I kept awakening all night...
Was a place to crash at the end of the day, was pretty cheap.
Water heater broke at one point so the hostel was freezing - they got it fixed though!!
The price was very good for what you got.
The staff could have been a bit more friendly but overall it was a good stay.
