Great location - public parking - the room was good. We spent evenings at Broadway Dive, situated 500 feet from the hotel. Would definitely book again because of the proximity to Carrere Memorial.

Our hotel was within a 25-minute walk from tourist site Central Park. A double bed was a bonus. Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like Metro Diner that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Would book here again, the property met the criteria.

I chose this hotel because the price seemed good. However, right after I got there, I found the hotel really old and dirty, even scary for me. In my room, there was only a bed, and nothing else. No air conditioner, so it was so hot that I couldn't sleep well at night. There were two bathrooms on each floor, but they were not clean too. It seemed that many other people were staying there at the same time, but I didn't understand why they were. I couldn't stand it and moved to another hotel the next day even though I had to pay for all the days I booked at this hotel. This was the terrible place to stay ever for me.

I liked the location actually, the staff was nice, especially the lady kooks like Spanish if I'm not mistaken.
The room is not cosy, the covers on the bed are very thin, it was a little cold to sleep there. Besides, it's very noisy outside at night, and I didn't fell asleep. But it's good attitude betwee the rate and quality.

location is great, close to central park and subway. also upper west side is a nice place to be. Also very noisy (screaming drunk scandinavians)
we had a bunk bed, and that's it. no table, no chair, it looked more like a prison cell than a hotel. It also was dusty and the window couldn't be opened.

In our room had a washbasin and a good view from the window.
Hotel is very old, so room's state was poor. Staff didn't change our bed linen and didn't wash our room.

Is clean and it works for the money.
The heating system is very old and makes an incredible metal pounding sound. The sound comes back and forth every hour and a half to two hours. At its peak, you feel like you are in the middle of steel factory. The radiator on my room was right next to the pillow, so I kept awakening all night...
